OOOOThe Department of Housing & Urban Development

OOOOOf all the cabinet departments, HUD runs the most transparent and user-friedy web site. Everything having to do with homes, home-buying, mortgages and insurance is copiously linked from the home page. We saw no reason to re-invent the wheel by reproducing them below. What we have provided are what we believe to be interesting and/or uselful sites from HUD's extensive site index.

The official site. There is a wealth of information on homes, home-buying, home-building and housing discrimination easily accessible from the home page.
